NewYork Times API :- Access NewYork Times Data and hack it

Due to the emergence of Citizen Journalism and Web2.0 emergence well established newspapers is facing lot of problem. So they are trying to innovate and trying to cope up the situation using the potential of Web2.0. Recently four Top Newspapers in Japan joined hands  and released mobile applications to provide their content . Now  The NewYork Times has opened  its data for developers . Now developers can use NYT API to access its data.

NYT has released various APIs like

Open Source Technologies:-

They have used opensource technologies like  DBSlayer .Which is a database abstraction and connection pooling layer built on HTTP and JSON. This open source has mesmerized me and i would like to explore it further. It has been developed in C language.

XSL Cache (a PHP extension that caches parsed XSLT stylesheets for faster XSL transforms.) and Visualization Lab(uses IBM’s “Many eye” technology) is the other technologies they have used.
